Why This Fund Matters

As we look ahead, we recognize the financial commitment required to support a full-time pastor. Our goal is to raise $50,000 in 2025 to ensure we are financially prepared. This fund helps us:

  • Ensure Financial Stability for Church Leadership – Providing the necessary resources to support a pastor’s salary, benefits, and housing.
  • Maintain Strong Worship & Spiritual Guidance – Securing inspirational leadership to guide our congregation.
  • Prepare for Growth & Change – Allowing us to adapt and invest in the evolving needs of our church community.
  • Reduce Financial Strain on the Church Budget – Earmarking funds specifically for pastoral leadership, so other ministry efforts remain strong.

Our Financial Need

Hiring a full-time pastor requires long-term financial planning. Based on our 2025 budget:

  • If we use the parsonage for a full-time pastor, we will lose $23,000 in rental income annually.
  • A full-time pastor’s salary and benefits will add approximately $50,000 per year in expenses.
  • Without proper planning, our budget would face a $76,000 annual shortfall.
  • We currently have $30,680 allocated to this fund, but we need to strengthen it further to ensure long-term sustainability.
