Faith and Learning for Young Hearts

Children’s Education & Sunday School in Rockford, MI

We are committed to guiding children in faith, fostering a love for learning, and helping them build a strong foundation for a life of spiritual growth. Our Children's Ministry serves children from birth through 5th grade, focusing on developing the whole child—Mind, Body, and Spirit.

Sunday School

Children in pre-school through grade 5 begin Sunday worship in the sanctuary, where they experience the rhythm of adult worship and participate in meaningful ways. After about 15 minutes, the children are invited to continue their worship downstairs in our dedicated Worship Centers. Led by two-person teaching teams, these sessions engage children through interactive storytelling, movement, and the arts—providing a rich and age-appropriate exploration of faith until the main service concludes.

Nursery Care

Our nursery offers a safe, caring environment for our youngest children, giving parents the opportunity to fully engage in worship with peace of mind. Open every Sunday morning and during special services throughout the year, the nursery is staffed by two attentive adults who care for children from birth through age 4.

In a clean, cheerful, and child-friendly space, little ones enjoy age-appropriate activities such as playing with toys, listening to music, reading books, and having a light snack.

Families are encouraged to use this nurturing space, where children can feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for while their parents participate in the life of the church.
